Pet, play, learn and explore at The Petting Barnyard!
The Petting Barnyard is a kid friendly, safe and fully fenced environment where you and your family can pet, play and interact with friendly animals in the petting pasture, learn and discover through hands-on activities in the barnyard and explore the natural world in the nature play areas. Join me at my small working sheep and wool farm to learn about unique Gotland sheep and to discover the simple joys and wonders found in a small farm barnyard!

The Petting Pasture
The main attraction at The Petting Barnyard is the petting pasture. The petting pasture is a fully fenced half acre pasture where several friendly sheep, lambs and goats roam freely and are just waiting to visit with you! Visitors are encouraged to also roam freely in the petting pasture for as long as they like to feed, pet, play, interact and just hang out with the goats and sheep. They love visitors and crave attention! There are several small breed goats that are perfect for young children to interact with.
Barnyard Activities
The barnyard is a great place to play, learn and explore! The barnyard activity and nature play area is also fully fenced so you don’t have to worry about your little ones darting out to the parking area or wandering off. I have done my best to design The Petting Barnyard as a safe and enjoyable environment for folks to visit with children of all ages for a day of worry-free farm fun!
